My monitor uses DVI input. The switch is not passing a video signal through to the monitor. Is there a way to make this KVM work with a DVI monitor?

I need to clarify: I've been using an HDMI to DVI cable from the computer to the monitor. I expected to be able to use that same cable between the KVM switch and the monitor, but it is not getting an image. I can tell from the power light on the monitor that it detects a signal of some sort, it comes out of sleep mode, but the screen stays black.
