With the DIGITUS® 2-port KVM switch, you can operate two 4K-compatible PCs via a single USB keyboard and mouse. At the press of a button or with the remote control supplied, you can easily switch between the two PCs and save yourself the tedious task of reconnecting all the cables. Output to a monitor can be made via the built-in HDMI® output or DisplayPort. Audio signals from the microphone and speakers can also be switched. In addition, the front panel has two USB 3.0 ports that can be used for additional peripherals such as USB sticks or external hard drives on both PCs. If you place the KVM switch in an inaccessible location, you can use the supplied IR receiver, including the connection cable, without the KVM switch itself having to be within range of the remote control.
