How To Use
RCA cables are color-coded, yellow for composite video, red for the right audio channel, and white for the left channel of stereo audio. This trio (or pair) of jacks can often be found on the back of audio and video equipment. In addition, one or more sets are often found on TV sets to facilitate the connection of camcorders, other portable video sources, and video game consoles. Nearly all connectors, including analog and S/PDIF audio as well as composite and component video, can use identical 75 cables.
he connectors consist of three nickel male RCA plugs on each end of the cable, and the wiring is composed of copper for reduced resistance. These solidly constructed cables are economical for hooking up VCRs and DVD players. Other older home theater electronics use RCA jacks for stereo audio and composite video to TVs.
