Can this adapter be used with a hair dryer?
It depends on the hair dryer’s voltage and power requirements. Hair dryers marked with specifications such as “100-240V, 50/60Hz” and rated under 2000W can typically be used in countries with 220-240V power outlets, such as many European countries.
The AC outlet on the adapter is not working. What should I do?
In some cases, the fuse may need to be checked. You can open the fuse compartment on the bottom of the adapter (marked “SPARE & FUSE”) and replace the fuse if necessary. If the issue continues, please email CC Store for further assistance.
Can I charge my laptop in Europe with this adapter? Do I need a voltage converter?
Yes. Most modern laptops support dual voltage input (such as “100-240V, 50/60Hz”), which means they can be used with this adapter in countries with 220-240V power outlets without requiring a separate voltage converter.
Can I use the adapter when traveling to South Africa or India?
No. The TA-105 adapter does not include Type D plugs for India or Type M plugs for South Africa, so it is not compatible with power outlets in these countries.
