- Q1: Does this travel adapter convert voltage?A: No, this is only a plug adapter, NOT a voltage converter. It only changes the physical plug shape. Your appliances must support dual-voltage marked 100-250V to work via the AC outlets. It will not step-up or step-down voltage for single-voltage devices. USB ports work globally without voltage concerns.
- Q2: Can I run 3 high-power devices at the same time on the 3 AC outlets? A: Yes. Our HHETP adapter features 3 independent AC outlets rated max 2500W at 250V / 1000W at 110V. Total load cannot exceed 10A. We do NOT recommend continuous use for devices over 2000W, even for dual-voltage units, as high inrush current may blow the built-in 10A fuse, especially in low-voltage countries like US and Japan.
- Q3: Is this adapter cruise-ship approved? A: Yes. This travel adapter has no surge-protection circuitry, which meets cruise-line requirements. Perfect for cruise travel. Please note surge-protected adapters are prohibited onboard most cruise ships.
- Q4: Will this work in India or South Africa? A: No. This adapter supports Type A/C/G/I plugs. It does NOT fit India Type D sockets or South Africa Type M sockets. It works for over 200 other countries including US, Canada, Japan, UK, most of Europe, Australia, New Zealand and China.
- Q5: Can I use my hair dryer / electric kettle with this adapter? A: Only if your hair dryer/kettle is clearly marked dual-voltage 100-250V. Even if dual-voltage, devices over 2000W are not recommended for long-term use. High-power loads create large inrush current that may trigger the 10A fuse. Many hair dryers are single-voltage and will not work properly.
- Q6: What should I do if the fuse blows? Are spare fuses included? A: One spare 10A fuse is pre-included inside the adapter package. You can replace the blown fuse easily. Please only use 10A replacement fuses; using wrong-spec fuses will void safety protection.
- Q7: Can I charge gaming laptops (65W-100W) with the USB-C port? A: The USB-C1 port offers max 45W PD fast charge. For 65W/100W high-watt gaming laptops, please plug your original laptop power brick into one of the 3 AC outlets for full-power performance. Reserve USB-C ports for phones, tablets and smaller electronics.
