I'm pretty impatient - I'll only spend 30 seconds drying my hair. Its boring, and my arm gets tired so fast. Sound familiar?
Sleeping with damp hair gave me morning headaches, especially in winter. One day, a bad headache hit. I tried warm air on my scalp for 5 minutes and surprisingly, it was gone.
So I bought a suction cup holder. It worked at first, but after 3 monthspopit fell. My dryer broke. The big hole let it spin freely, adjusting was annoying, and the cord wrap was too small. Nothing I found worked.
So I decided to build exactly what I needed:
- Stays put permanently
- Adjusts in any direction
- Neatly stores the cords
Thats how this true hands-free hair dryer holder was made. Now, drying my hair is enjoyable - its my never-tiring third hand. I can relax, close my eyes, or scroll through my phone. No more arm fatigue. Just ease.
Installation Guide (Permanent Mount Plan Ahead!)
Heads up: Permanent install. Removal is difficult. Choose your spot carefully (it won't damage tile, but it's not easy!). Please double-check the position before installing.
DO NOT use on painted walls or wallpaper. For wood, use only on bare or very well-bonded surfaces.
- Attach the heavy-duty clamp to the gooseneck head. Lock the ball joint with the nut.
- Wipe the surface clean thoroughly with a cloth.
- Stick the auxiliary tape onto the front of the aluminum backplate, half on the metal, leaving the other half for wall attachment.
- Apply the nail-free adhesive in a dotted pattern on the back of the backplate.
- Stick the backplate to the wall, press the aluminum backplate firmly, then press down the tape too.
- Wait 24h before hanging dryer. Peel off the tape after 72h.
