- Read and write speeds are related to the version of PCIe, such as PCIe 2.0/3.0/4.0/5.0, and also to the version configurations supported by PCIe for the three key modules (SSD/PC motherboard/CPU), and the maximum read and write speed is limited by the low hardware configuration.
- Usually older computer motherboards do not support booting from PCIE, and booting a system from M.2 requires a newer and more modern chipset to do so.
