Standard Door Preparation
This door lock replaces existing door hardware with just a screwdriver, no hard wiring needed. SmartCode 917 fits standard doors with a minimum door thickness of 1-3/8" and maximum door thickness of 1-3/4". The latch has an adjustable backset of 2-3/8" to 2-3/4" to fit all standard door preparations.
