Delivering a versatile mic for a variety of studio needs, the Spirit from Aston Microphones, presented here in a stereo pair, is a multi-pattern, large-diaphragm condenser microphone with cardioid, omni, and figure-8 patterns. Excellent on numerous instruments, but excelling at voice and acoustic guitar, the Spirit is a studio workhorse. The Spirit is designed to deliver an open sound with sparkling harmonics. This accurate microphone provides natural and transparent recording, capturing detail in the high range, but without adding the harshness that some condenser microphones tend to. This is thanks to the 1" gold-evaporated capsule and transformer-balanced circuitry. The Aston Spirit stereo pair includes two SwiftShield combination pop filter shockmounts and one stereo mounting bar.
