The Cable Leader 3 ft NEMA C14 to 5-15R power extension cord adds reach to any standard 3-prong device cord. The plug goes into your wall outlet, power strip or surge protector; the outlet accepts your existing power cord.

Built with 18 AWG, 10A / 125V 3-conductor grounded copper and a SJT jacket, a true 3-wire grounded design.

Indoor duty: the SJT jacket is for indoor use; for wet/outdoor choose SJTW.

Choosing the right gauge: 18 AWG handles up to 10A for light electronics; 16 AWG up to 13A for computers; 14 AWG up to 15A for servers, PDUs and higher-draw equipment; 12 AWG up to 20A for heavy-duty 20A equipment.
