This DC 5525 to IDE large 4PIN power cable is developed to solve power supply problems of traditional IDE parallel hard drives. IDE hard disks need both 12V and 5V power to run normally. This cable comes with an embedded step-down voltage regulator board. When you supply 12V DC power through the DC 5525 interface, the module will generate steady 12V and 5V power simultaneously to meet the official power requirements of IDE hard drives.

Adopting thickened copper conductors, the cable minimizes power loss during transmission. The built-in voltage regulation circuit suppresses voltage spikes and ripples, effectively avoiding abnormal startup, clicking noise or disk damage caused by unstable power. It is widely used for old hard drive data rescue, retro PC assembly, industrial equipment maintenance and laboratory hard disk testing.

Easy to operate without complicated wiring. Simply connect a certified 12V DC power adapter to the DC 5525 port, then plug the Molex 4PIN connector into your IDE hard drive.

    Important Notes:

    1. Please prepare a 12V DC adapter with enough output current. Insufficient current will lead to hard drive spin failure.
    2. This cable only supports IDE Molex 4Pin hard drives, incompatible with SATA hard drives.
    3. Do not reverse the positive and negative poles of the DC power supply to avoid burning the circuit module.
