OK, I was thinking the guy who wrote the review was confused as to what this cable is, or am I ? isn't this for a GPU? He said he was having trouble connecting it to the Motherboard... Why would you connect a Pcie GPU cable to the mother board? would'nt it go from the PSU to the GPU? can anyone help me out here?

if his motherboard has headers with the proper voltage and the correct pin he could.  I bought these and use the for my gpu... but I run them back into the case and hook into the power supply.  Two reason... not enough length on the factory PSU to reach what I want and, they are green so they shine well under my RGB system.  Hope this helps!
