The listing says this work for 4 pin fans when the board only has 3 pins. How?

The product can support both 3-pin and 4-pin fans. While the hub itself has 3-pin connectors, it can accommodate 4-pin fans as well. This is because 4-pin fans have backward compatibility with 3-pin connectors; they can operate without the additional pin (which is typically for PWM control).
