Does this kit come with both the 8 (GPU) and 24 (Motherboard) pin cables? Or does it only come with the 24 pin?

No, this is just the 24 Pin cable. The GPU cable is sold separately.

Can you connect this to a cooler master rgb hub then into the mobo to be controlled with MSI mystic light?

I have mine connected to an no name brand control hub that then allows me to sync using my motherboard RGB software.

As long as your RGB hub has a 5v connection and not some proprietary connection you are good otherwise you can connect straight to motherboard 5v and still sync using motherboard software. If you do not have anymore 5v from motherboard you can get 5v splitter.

How many Amps/Watts will this use?

I'm not sure about the specific amount that they typically use, but the maximum capacity of a SATA power cable at 5V is 22.5 watts/4.5 amps, so it must be lower than that for the 24-pin and 8-pin models combined since you can power them off the same control box.

Would this work with the Corsair Commander setup? Or will I need to buy an adapter to plug it into it?

You would need an adapter.
Corsair RGB products are all proprietary so nothing will automatically work with them except for Corsair Products.

Would the 24 Pin Strimer plus work with a GPU featuring a three 8-pin design?

The 24 pin Strimmer Plus is meant to go from your PSU cables to your MB, The 8 pin Strimmer plus is what you want, that is actually meant to go from your PSU to your GPU. And if your curious yes the 8 pin strimmer plus would work with a three 8 pin design GPU, just it wont look as clean as a two 8 pin design GPU

Where is the GPU cable, why has the link vanished??

I think they screwed up. I ordered one from overseas and it came in but the 24 pin motherboard end was upside down. So I cannot install it as intended. I tried to flip the clips but then it would not bend properly.

It does not.
They are sold separately. 
This is just the 24 PIN only. It comes with the Control box.

However, the 8PIN does not come with the control box so unless you are using some way to control the RGB you would also need the 24 PIN with the 8PIN.

Is this really the plus version because plus version includes 8 pin cable too? 
24 pin version without 8 pin cable is a separate product with different and upgraded specifications.

The plus version is the diffused LED strip rather than the older more transparent version.  There is a 24pin plus and an 8pin plus version.  The quality is better as well.

Question 10

Is it possible to extend the cables that connect to the controller?  I can't even get my controller on the outside of the case so would have to open the case every time I want to change the setting.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be on the inside of the case, that's where I put mine anyway. The RGB header doesn't work with my Giga board so I just leave it on rainbow, not super exciting, but the other settings don't have a lot of use unless you keep it on solid color.
