Vszerda 5-Pin PWM PC Fan Adapter Cable for D.ell Motherboards - 6-inch (15cm), Black Sleeved - Connect Standard 4-Pin Computer Fans to D.ell Latching 5-Pin Fan Headers

This adapter cable is designed to allow connecting conventional 3-pin and 4-pin PWM PC fans to the proprietary 5-pin fan header found on D.ell and other OEM motherboards.
We advise the use of a fan which supports 4-pin PWM speed control as 3-pin fan voltage speed control is not supported by most of these systems.
Some systems may post a BIOS fan speed alert if the replacement fan operates at a significantly lower RPM. We advise the use of a fan which matches the original specifications.
The premium cable construction features all black connectors and high density sleeving for minimal wire visibility.
Cable length (including connectors) is 6 inches (15cm)

This cable allows you the ability to connect standard 3-pin and 4-pin PC fans to a proprietary 5-pin fan header found on many D.ell PC motherboards. The cable is wired to pass-through all 4 fan pins enabling full support for PWM fans. Note that since this cable enables you to use a wide variety of aftermarket PC fans, certain issues may be encountered that are dependent on the motherboard and bios. This can include low RPM alerts and the lack of support for 3-pin (analog) fan speed control.
