This adapter cable allows you to connect conventional PC fans to the much less common latching 4-pin fan heads found mostly on Dell motherboards. Note that the motherboards may still expect the fan to operate within a certain RPM range, so BIOS alerts and other compatibility issues are possible beyond the scope of this pass-through adapter cable.
