Power Supply Requirements:
- Your PSU must have a native 12VHPWR/12V-2x6 cable (this is an extension, not a direct PSU replacement cable)
- For RTX 5090: 1000W or higher
- For RTX 4090/5080: 850W or higher
- For RTX 4080/4070 Ti: 750W or higher
READ BEFORE INSTALLATION Incomplete insertion is the #1 cause of 12VHPWR connector failure.-11
Step 1: Connect to Your PSU Cable Plug your PSUs existing 12VHPWR cable into the Female end of this extension cable. Ensure a fully seated connection.
Step 2: Connect to Your GPU CRITICAL STEP Push the Male end (90° angled connector) straight and firmly into your GPUs power port until you hear a distinct CLICK. The connector must be completely flush with the GPUs port.
Step 3: Verify NO GAP After insertion, visually check that no gap remains between the connector housing and the GPU socket. If you see any gap, the connector is not fully seated DO NOT power on your system re-insert immediately.
Additional Safety Tips:
- Do NOT bend the cable within 35mm (1.4 inches) of the GPU connector
- Periodically inspect the connector for signs of melting or discoloration
- If you notice any abnormality, power down immediately
