- ANY other EVGA PSU or other brands
Using this cable with incompatible PSUs will definitely burn or damage your hard drive or other connected devices-2. The EVGA GQ series uses a different 6-pin pinout than other EVGA models- this cable is specifically wired for GQ series pinouts.

Designed specifically for EVGA GQ Series semi-modular power supplies, this cable converts a single 6-pin PCIe output into three standard SATA power connectors giving you the extra power connections you need for additional storage, optical drives, or other SATA devices.
Step 1: Verify Compatibility Confirm your power supply is one of: EVGA 650GQ, 750GQ, 850GQ, or 1000GQ-2. If you have any other EVGA PSU, this cable will NOT work and may damage your hardware.
Step 2: Connect to PSU Plug the 6-pin male connector into the corresponding 6-pin PCIe port on your EVGA GQ modular PSU-2.
Step 3: Connect Your Devices Plug the SATA 15-pin female connectors into your hard drives, SSDs, optical drives, or other SATA devices-2.
Step 4: Ensure Secure Connections All connectors should be firmly seated to avoid power loss.
Important: This cable is for EVGA GQ Series PSUs ONLY. Using it with any other PSU will cause damage. Always verify your PSU model before ordering.
