This PoE IP over Coax converter is designed to upgrade an analog system to an IP surveillance system while making use of existing coaxial cable. It is compatible with RG59, RG6, and RG11 cables. It supports PoE standards 802.3af (PoE) and 802.3at (PoE+). The EOC Receiver MUST be powered by a PoE switch or PoE injector, while the Transmitter should be connected to PoE or non-PoE devices. Each pair of EOC (Ethernet over Coax) Converters comes with 2 BNC to Twist Pair connectors, enabling PoE over Twist Pair transmission. It provides 100Mbps bandwidth over 330ft of regular twist pair cable, and 10Mbps over 1485ft for both PoE and non-PoE devices. It is ideal for CCTV systems in elevator cars. The industrial design, featuring a built-in heat sink, ensures high reliability and trouble-free transmission. It is for indoor use only. Plug-and-play with no setup needed, making installation straightforward. It has a compact design (3.1" x 2.0" x 0.9") and is lightweight. It functions as a MoCA (Multimedia over Coax) device in a point-to-point connection, transmitting video, audio, data, and control signals over coaxial cable, and can also be used with twist pair. The EOC Receiver should be powered by a PoE switch or PoE injector, while the Transmitter should be connected to PoE or non-PoE devices. Installation is very simple and requires no configuration or special skills. Simply plug the EOC Receiver into a PoE switch or PoE injector, then connect it to the EOC Transmitter via coaxial cable or twist pair cable. The IP camera or VoIP phone will then receive PoE power and data transmission from this EOC Transmitter. For applications involving multiple PoE over coax cables in one system, it is highly recommended to use an EOC-Switch Kit to avoid potential signal interference
