The transparent (clear) color allows for easy inspection of the splice prior to shrinkage. Simple to use and aids in preventing any damage to the optical fiber during installation. The strength needle is constructed from D-shape single ceramic material rather than standard stainless steel, providing superior rust and corrosion resistance compared to steel components. Features a brief installation cycle, with a shrink time of 90 seconds. (Shrink times differ with heater type and ambient temperature.) Package contains 1000 pieces (20 bags of 50 pieces each) and includes a storage box for orderly arrangement of these fiber sleeves and other accessories
