What kind of case does this have and what type of clasp holds it closed? (Is it a clear plastic snap shut that will break off?)

It is a fairly solid plastic case. It has a good hinge, so no plastic bending back and forth to wear out. The clasp is metal. This appears to be a quality case that will provide long service. It is also nice how the bits all hinge up inside the case for easy access.
