The RackSolutions 4U Universal Blanking Panel closes four rack units of open space so cold supply air is not pulled straight through the rack and mixed with hot exhaust. Bypass airflow of that kind makes cooling units work harder for less effect, and blanking the open space is the standard correction. This is the solid version, so the panel face is unbroken and blocks air completely. A vented version is available where some airflow through the panel is wanted. Stability flanges stiffen the panel so it does not drum or vibrate under airflow, which is what makes lighter blanking panels audible in a quiet room.

It installs with a Phillips head screwdriver and fits all EIA standard 19in racks and cabinets.
