RackSolutions 5U HyperShelf for 16 Dell OptiPlex Micro PCs

The RackSolutions 5U HyperShelf for Dell OptiPlex Micro puts sixteen Micro-form PCs into five rack units, which is the density that makes cluster and virtual machine deployments practical inside a standard rack. Airflow is routed through the shelf rather than around it, and the layout leaves power buttons and rear ports clear so machines can be reached without pulling the shelf apart. Quick mount rails cut installation time and the fully articulated cable management arm keeps sixteen power and network runs from becoming a single knot. Removable side panels open the shelf for cable work and cleaning.

The shelf is built from 16 gauge galvanized steel and rides on ball bearing slides rated for repeated service access. A standard 6ft fan cable with a NEMA 5-15 plug ships with the shelf. Other plug types require an adapter, which is sourced separately.
