The RackSolutions 1U Cobra 155-A Dry Slide Rail is built for the shorter Dell PowerEdge servers, specifically the R210 and R240, and for the shallow racks they usually end up in. A standard-depth rail in a shallow rack protrudes past the rear uprights and stops the door closing, which is the problem this kit avoids. Unlike the Dell OEM rails, it works with square, round and threaded hole racks. Construction is 18 GA galvanized steel with dry slides, which give smooth operation and outlast ball bearing designs. It supports both 2Post and 4Post racks, center mounting in 2Post so the load sits balanced on the rack centerline.
