Does this laundry hamper have a lid?
Yes, our lid uses a wide Velcro closure. To keep it secure, align the edges completely and press firmly around the entire rim.
Will the metal frame bend? How much weight can it hold?
Our frame is made of thickened steel. Maximum weight capacity is 66 lbs (30 kg) – roughly a full weeks laundry (jeans + towels) for a family of four.
There's a smell from the new hamper. Is that normal? How to remove it?
A slight smell from the new Oxford fabric and metal coating is normal and non-toxic. It usually fades within 2-3 days of airing in a well-ventilated area. You can also wipe the removable bag with a damp cloth and let it air dry.
Is assembly difficult? Could parts be missing or the instructions unclear?
We include all necessary tools and an illustrated manual. Most customers finish assembly in under 15 minutes. And we have provided installation videos for you to watch.
I'm shorter than 5'3'' (1.6m). The hamper is 30.5'' tall – will it be hard to reach clothes at the bottom?
The hamper is 30.5'' (77 cm) tall. For users under 5'3'', reaching the very bottom may require tilting the basket slightly. Lock the wheels first, then tilt the basket toward you about 20 degrees – you'll easily reach the bottom items.
