HEAVY DUTY CLEVIS SLIP HOOKS - These Grade 70 chain hooks feature a working load limit of 11,300 lbs and a break strength of 45,200 lbs, making them robust enough for the most demanding load binding tasks. Do not use for overhead lifting applications. WIDE THROAT - Clevis slip hooks provide a wider throat opening compared to clevis grab hooks. When utilized with 5/16" chain, the wider opening enables the hook to slide down the chain more readily. DURABLE FINISH - The 1/2" chain hooks are forged from high-strength, low-alloy carbon steel. They have a zinc chromate finish for defense against rust, corrosion, and severe environments. QUICK IDENTIFICATION - The trailer chain hooks are forged and clearly stamped with chain size and chain grade details. They conform to US DOT and ASTM standards.
