The USB to 8 RS422/485 ports adapter is a self-powered device, but it also includes a 5Volt 2Amp power supply (pictured above) for applications with high power consumption. This device offers easy plug and play installation and RS-422/RS-485 device connection. There is no need to open the chassis to set the operation modes since the eight DIP switches are located externally for easy RS-422, RS-485 mode settings.
The high speed serial port with the 128 byte FIFO allow high speed communication, even in heavy loaded systems. Unique features reduce the system load. The serial port also allows unusual speed settings like 500.000bps.
