USB-RS485-WE-1800-BT is a USB to UART cable with RS485 level UART signals. It incorporates FTDI's FT232RL USB to Serial UART interface chip, which can handle all USB signals and protocols. The cable provides a quick and easy way to connect RS485 interface
devices to USB. It contains a small internal electronics board, using the FT232R encapsulated in a USB connector on one end of the cable. The other end of the cable is a bare tinned wire end connection. The integrated electronics also includes an
RS485 transceiver, receiver and transmitter LEDs, which emit visual signals to indicate cable communication. The USB end of the cable is used for USB power and USB 2.0 full speed compatibility.
UHCI / OHCI / EHCI host controller compatible.
