This cable will work with Aruba CX Series switches and replaces the HPE Aruba R8Z87A console cable.
Plug N Play for Windows
No drivers required. COM port will appear once connected to the switch and is POWERED on.

ArubaOS-CX Switches: Console Access
Changes have been made to the console access of the ArubaOS-CX switches compared to the previous series (ArubaOS-S switches, better known as "ProCurve"). While ProCurve initially used the DB9 connector, then RJ45 ports for console access for a long time and later supplemented by micro-USB ports, technical development is now moving towards USB-C.
The console port should not be confused with the management port (marked as "Mgmt" on the chassis). This is used for the optional out-of-band management (OOBM) of the switches
