M.2 B+M Key 2-Port RS232 DB9 Serial Expansion Card, PCIe NGFF Serial Controller Card

SI-ADA15069 is an M.2 NGFF serial expansion card that expands two standard DB9 RS232 ports for compact mini computers, thin clients and industrial control devices lacking native serial ports.

It adopts universal 2280-size B+M key, which can be inserted into M-key or B-key PCIe M.2 slots of mainstream motherboards. Two independent serial channels support complete RS232 signal definitions, adjustable data bits, stop bits, parity check, as well as hardware and software flow control to meet various industrial communication demands.

Large transmit and receive hardware FIFOs effectively avoid packet loss during high-speed continuous transmission. The card draws power directly from the M.2 slot without an external power adapter. The matched flat ribbon cable leads out dual DB9 serial ports, and two specifications of brackets are provided to adapt to full-size chassis and short-depth slim rack equipment.

It supports 24-hour uninterrupted operation and comes with official complete drivers, compatible with all mainstream Windows versions and Linux kernels. Widely used for connecting industrial PLCs, CNC machine tools, retail cash registers, barcode scanners, serial modems and laboratory test equipment.
