The Thermaltake CT140 EX ARGB Reverse is a white three-pack of 140 mm case fans for PC builders who want visible ARGB lighting with reverse-blade airflow. Magnetic connections simplify installation, and the fans support 5V motherboard lighting sync.
Recommended For
- Builders of white, glass-sided PCs who want intake fans to show their ARGB lighting without displaying the usual rear support struts.
- Showcase-case owners adding three 140 mm reverse-blade fans for visible side or bottom intake, where standard fan blades would hide the lighting on the viewed side.
- PC builders installing several fans who want magnetic fan-to-fan connections to reduce cable clutter and simplify daisy-chained installation.
- Users refreshing a compatible 140 mm case or radiator setup who want PWM fan-speed control, ARGB lighting, and cooling performance reviewed as adequate for case and radiator use.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- When adding intake fans to the visible side of a showcase PC, the reverse-blade design lets the fans bring air into the case while keeping the lit fan face visible, rather than showing the usual support struts.
- When replacing or expanding case cooling in a system with 140 mm fan mounts, a three-fan pack can add airflow across the case; the actual temperature and noise results depend on the case layout and fan curves.
- When building a white-themed PC with a windowed case, the white frames and motherboard-controlled ARGB lighting help the fans match the build’s color scheme and coordinate with other compatible components.
- When installing several fans together, MagForce 2.0 magnetic connections can make linking them and routing cables simpler than handling a separate connection between every fan, while still requiring the appropriate motherboard fan and 5V ARGB headers.
- When fitting fans to a compatible radiator, the reverse-blade airflow can help preserve the intended intake direction while keeping the illuminated side visible; check the radiator’s 140 mm support and plan airflow direction before installation.
