The Alphacool Core 140mm Fan PWM 2000rpm is a 140 x 140 x 25 mm fan with a 4-pin PWM connector and a control range from 0 to 2000 rpm. It has no aRGB lighting and is suitable for radiators, CPU coolers and as a case fan.

Where it is used

Alphacool calls its Core 140mm a quiet and efficient fan with a wide control range. Since it can be controlled via a PWM signal, the fan is not only one for CPU coolers or radiators. Thanks to what Alphacool calls excellent performance values (throughput & static pressure), it can also be used as a case fan. The hydraulically mounted fan axis runs smoothly, which Alphacool says enables a long service life and quiet operation. Connections

A 4-pin PWM connector controls the fan, and the cable is 40 cm long. This allows the fan to be connected directly to the mainboard (motherboard) or to a special, dedicated controller. That works without using additional adapter cables or extensions.

Control range

Via the 4-pin PWM connection the speed can be set anywhere from 0 to 2000 rpm. At maximum speed Alphacool gives an airflow of 103.03 CFM, paired with what it calls a high static pressure of 2.81 mm/H2O. Alphacool says this makes the fan perfect for mounting on radiators of a water cooling system or for ventilating a case.
