im needing a fan hub for atleast 10 3pin fans.  I'm checking out the picture for this item and it appears to have 4 pin.  do i just plug the 3 pin fan in and leave an extra pin open?

Hello there,

Thank you for contacting us in regards to your question. Your 3pin fans would be able to be power by a 4pin connector but it would not have speed control through the Bios of the motherboard and would run at 100% speed. I would recommend a hub which is able to control the fan speed of the 3 pin fans as the 4th pin is for PWM control.
