Patch panels are essential components of a cabling network. It plays a crucial role in the operations of communication closets, data centers, central offices, and even some homes with multiple wired cable connections.
But because of the number of cables used in such networks, the system can quickly and easily turn into a tangled mess. This isn't just an eyesore it can also compromise the integrity of the cables. Luckily, there's a simple but very effective solution to such problems.
The easyPATCH 24-Port Keystone Patch Panel from Everest Media Solutions offers an effective way of managing and protecting your cables.
This keystone patch panel can be mounted in 19" racks or cabinets. It has 24 ports in total, which is more than enough to help you organize a group of cables so you can consolidate voice, video, and data cables in a single location.
The 24 ports are divided into 4 modules with 6 ports each. These smaller port groupings and the snap-IN design make it easier to conduct maintenance and replacements. It also saves you from having to re-run the whole cable set up when a malfunction happens.
Because of the number of ports and wires that can be connected to this panel, we've included removable writable tags in front of the unit. At the back, there's a cable management bar that's strong enough to support the weight of 24 cables.
