AJMRTC AW9523B IO Expansion Board is a practical GPIO expander module built around the AW9523B chip. Using the I2C communication interface, this board expands 16 usable I/O channels, solving the problem of insufficient native GPIO pins on mainstream microcontrollers. Each IO channel can be independently set to input or output state to drive LEDs, read switch signals and connect external sensors. Thanks to I2C bus design, multiple expansion modules can be connected in daisychain way without consuming plenty of host controller ports. Working under 3.3V voltage, it matches the logic level of Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi and other common development boards. Perfect for embedded prototyping, multiLED control, multiswitch signal acquisition and various electronic DIY projects. Main controller board and external peripherals are sold separately.
