The XIC PE5160H-4IL is a high-performance, low dielectric loss factor lateral plug-in interface conversion card. It connects NVMe SSD or PCIe connectors via MCIO connector . The bandwidth of the card is the bandwidth that the PCIe slot of the motherboard can support.

The Motherboard with CPU and BIOS needs to support bifurcation to ensure PCIe x16 link width to bifurcate two x8 link width or four x4 link width for NVMe SSD, Otherwise this card can only support PCIe x16 link width.

Operating system support

The adapter does not require a driver for operation or communication to attached NVMe drives. The drives are presented natively to the host and use the native NVMe drivers.
