Ok i haven't been able to confirm this anywhere but will this RAM work with a 1150 socket CPU?

Yes, it should. DDR3-1333 is the standard base RAM at this time.
You would have to be careful in the 1600-2133 range.
I have been running this RAM on an AMD system for a couple years with zero issue.
Also, I've never had a problem with G.Skill RAM.

No it will not- Your ASRock Q2900-ITX board states that it fitted for 204pin SO-DIMM while these G.SKILL are 240pin DIMM. Subtle difference in name, huge difference physically. These are indeed sold as a pair. Any ram labeled (2 x 4GB), (2 x 2GB), or any configuration of the sort is saying there are 2 sticks of 4GB = 8GB total, or 2 sticks of 2GB = 4GB, in example.

To fit your ASRock Q2900-ITX, search for 204pin SO-DIMM ram. You have 2 slots available on that mobo, so any searches of (2 x XGB) is fitting.
