Using it with ASUS X570 TUF and a 3700x, the DOCP took it to 3600 and the listed timings. Haven't used memtest yet but it has been stable so far

So far, unable to get this ram to be stable with my Tomahawk Max b450 board. It keeps crashing at 3600 speed (XMP 2). But some other people were able to make it work fine at 3600 speed. Running at 2133 default = stable. What settings do I need for stable 3600 speed? Thanks

AMD systems don't always work 100% with XMP profiles. But don't worry, you can still get great performance out of your ram. Get the DRAM calculator for RYZEN and plug in the details for your particular RAM, it'll give you settings you can type into your bios that will give you lower latency and better speeds. It may not get you to 3600, but you may end up with lower latency which helps offset the difference.

I am currently running a Ryzen 3700x on an AsRock B450M Pro 4 board, the current ram I have isn't available anymore and really I want to upgrade. Can my board run this ram at 3600? If it won't, then will I be able to run this ram at 3200 until I can get a newer board? Will my PC even start to bios with this RAM?

I just checked the memory list, and this is not listed. It's only a step away from the model number of another one, so it will PROBABLY work, but your mileage may vary. If you're comfortable messing with RAM timings, XMP, etc... it might be worth trying, but if you don't want to spend the time in BIOS, with the risk of not even getting POST in the first place, I'd probably pass and use the memory list to find another die that is listed as compatible.

In bios try setting the memory speed to 3200. I had to do that too.
