This RCA to 1/4 cable is designed to connect a channel insert on a mixing console to an effects processor with phone jacks. It connects devices with 6.35mm (1/4) audio ports to AV receivers, speakers, amplifiers, and other RCA-enabled devices. It can be used as a stereo "splitter" or as an "insert" cable to add an outboard mono effects device with unbalanced RCA input and output jacks to an effects loop.
This quarter inch to RCA cable is reversible, allowing either 2 RCA or 6.35mm to serve as the audio input, converting RCA to stereo or stereo to RCA. It splits closer to the RCA ends with a distance of 7.5 inches to the split point, where the red connector is right and the blue connector is left. (Note: if the input is red and white, use the blue in place of the white)
High-quality gold-plated plug with spring-style strain relief to prevent cables from pulling out, corrosion-resistant, featuring 20 AWG 4N oxygen-free copper wire combined with double shielding for optimal audio quality and excellent signal integrity.
Heavy-duty flexible rubber jacket made from environmentally friendly materials ensures durability. Polyethylene insulation improves high-frequency response.
