How to set up the detector to make it ready to detect?
Turn on and wait for 30S,“di” preheating complete. Please keep in mind that the warm-up process should be performed in a known 'clean air' environment to achieve accurate results.
How can I tell what sensitivity the detector is currently at?
When the S button light is on, the detector is in high sensitivity mode; when the S button light is off, the detector is in low sensitivity mode.
How close does the detector need to be to detect leaking gas from a natural gas pipeline?
Generally 1-5cm, depending on the severity and concentration of the gas leak.
Does the alarm continue until the situation is resolved?
Yes, the alarm will continue to sound until the combustible gas concentration is below 5% of the lower explosive limit.
Why doesn't the screen light up/can’t be turned on?
First, check the battery to make sure the electrodes are oriented correctly. Next, please check whether the battery voltage is sufficient, and replace new batteries to see if the detector works. If the problem persists, please get in touch with us.
