Turn on and wait for 30 seconds to warm up. Please keep in mind that the warm-up process should be performed in a known 'clean' environment to achieve accurate results.
How can I tell what sensitivity the detector is currently at?
When the LCD screen displays the "SH" symbol, the detector is in high sensitivity mode; when the LCD screen displays the "SL" symbol, the detector is in low sensitivity mode.
Does the alarm continue until the situation is resolved?
Yes, the alarm will continue to sound until the combustible gas concentration is below 1%LEL.
How close does the detector need to be to detect leaking gas from a natural gas pipeline?
Generally 1-5cm, depending on the severity and concentration of the gas leak.
Can the sensors be replaced?
We do not sell sensors separately. If you find that the sensor is no longer working within three years from the date of purchase, please get in touch with us.
