A green LED shows power to the carbon monoxide detector, while an 85-decibel alarm and a red LED indicate the presence of carbon monoxide. Interconnect capability enables you to link up to 24 smoke, heat, or CO alarms, with the ability to interconnect 6 strobe lights or relay modules. The unit will beep at the end of its service period, signaling that the alarm requires replacement. If the replacement date is not known, it should be assumed that alarms need to be replaced
