This PCM2704 USB DAC decoder board adopts classic PCM2704 audio decoding chip, acting as an external USB sound card for desktop and laptop computers. It converts USB digital audio signal into analog audio and S/PDIF digital signal output, great for DIY audio modification and improving computer audio performance.
The module provides two kinds of audio output options. The 3.5mm analog jack can connect headphones, active speakers and amplifiers. Meanwhile the S/PDIF digital output port sends pure digital audio signal to external DAC equipment for further highfidelity audio decoding.
Powered directly by USB bus, no extra power adapter needed. Simply plug the board into computer USB port, most mainstream operating systems will recognize this audio device automatically without complicated driver setup. Compact bareboard structure is convenient for embedding into custom audio case or DIY speaker projects.
Important note: This is bare decoder circuit board, not finished enclosed audio player housing. Please handle static protection during installation. Confirm your system audio output device is switched to PCM2704 USB audio device after connection. It does not support audio recording function, only for audio playback.
