How to configure separate Wi-Fi SSIDs for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands?
- If your router supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, but the mobile Wi-Fi search page only shows one Wi-Fi name, please follow the steps below:
- Enter the wireless page of the router. (The entry address is usually provided on the label on the back of the router).
- Enter the 2.4GHz setting page, set the Wi-Fi name (SSID) to (XXX)-2.4G, where xxx represents the Wi-Fi name, and save the settings.
- Enter the 5GHz setting page, set the Wi-Fi name (SSID) to (XXX)-5G, where xxx represents the Wi-Fi name, and save the settings.
- After the above settings are completed, the new Wi-Fi name will appear on the mobile Wi-Fi setting page.
- Note: After changing the Wi-Fi name, you need to reconnect the device using this wireless router. If the password has not been changed, the password remains unchanged, which is applicable to most routers.

Notice:Please download and install Smart Life app for iOS 8.0 Higher or Android phone 4.4 higher. Make sure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4G.
