How to update the firmware
- 1. Visit app.8bitdo.com/Ultimate-Software-V2 and install Elite-Software-V2 on your PC or Mac.
- 2. Plug the controller and the USB receiver into two separate PC ports.
- 3. Open the app, tick “Get beta firmware”, hit Update for both units. When the bar hits 100 % you’re ready for Switch 2.
Pair with Switch 2
- Slide the mode switch to “BT”.
- Hold HOME until the LED blinks, then tap the pair button for 3 s; the LED flashes rapidly. O
- n Switch 2 open Controllers ? Change Grip/Order. The pad appears automatically. L
- ED goes solid ? play time.
Shake-to-Wake Set
- 1. Update both Controller and the adapter to the newest firmware; set the controller to S-mode and and make sure it’s in pairing.
- 2. Pop out the right Joy-Con, press HOME to open the console’s Change Grip/Order screen, and let the controller connect.
- 3. Put the NS2 console back to sleep. Now one quick shake of the controller wakes Switch 2 instantly.
