This SFF-8482 SAS to SATA adapter cable provides a simple storage conversion solution, allowing SFF-8482 interface SAS hard drives to work with motherboards equipped with common SATA ports.

The cable features a SFF-8482 connector on one end to plug into your SAS hard drive, a SATA data plug to connect to the motherboard SATA slot, and an extra 15Pin SATA power port. You can link a standard SATA power cable from the power supply to this 15Pin port to deliver sufficient power to the SAS hard disk independently.

It is compatible with both 2.5 and 3.5 SFF-8482 SAS hard drives. Perfect for DIY PC upgrades, small file servers, data backup systems and monitoring storage equipment.
