This SFF-8482 SAS to SATA adapter cable realizes signal conversion between SAS hard disks and common SATA motherboards, making it possible to read retired server SAS hard drives on ordinary desktop computers.
The SFF-8482 connector integrates SAS data and power contacts. An independent 7-inch Molex 4Pin power cord is included to provide stable enough power supply for enterprise SAS hard drives, effectively solving the problem of hard disk not being recognized due to insufficient power.
High-quality internal conductors minimize signal attenuation and resist electromagnetic interference inside the chassis. Integrated injection molded connectors maintain tight insertion and will not easily loosen under vibration during long-term operation. The 2.3ft overall length balances wiring flexibility without redundant messy cables.
