This SFF-8643 to 4-port SFF-8482 breakout cable is designed for enterprise internal server storage systems. It converts a single Mini SAS HD (SFF-8643) host port on RAID controllers or HBA cards into four separate SFF-8482 connectors to directly link SAS hard disk drives. The attached SATA power connectors provide reliable power supply for connected storage devices.

Fully compliant with SAS 3.0 industrial standards, the cable supports maximum 12Gbps per channel bandwidth. Multi-layer shielding minimizes electromagnetic interference and crosstalk inside densely wired rack servers, maintaining consistent data throughput during mass data access, database operation and file backup tasks.

Built-in locking clips on each connector lock firmly after insertion to avoid loose connections caused by equipment vibration or maintenance work. Reinforced strain relief protects internal copper conductors from fracture during routing and chassis assembly. The 1-meter length offers flexible arrangement space inside rackmount servers and storage workstations.

Compatibility Notice: This cable works with standard 2.5 / 3.5 SFF-8482 SAS hard drives. It cannot directly connect pure SATA drives without adapters. Please verify the interface type of your RAID card and hard drives before ordering. Package contains only breakout cable; RAID controller and hard disks are not included.
