This 1meter SFF8643 to SFF8087 Mini SAS HD cable is enterprisegrade internal wiring for server and RAID storage hardware. It bridges 12G SFF8643 MiniSAS HD port on RAID array cards to legacy 6G SFF8087 harddisk backplane, supporting backwardcompatible data transmission between 12G and 6G SAS storage devices.
Multilayer shielding structure suppresses electromagnetic interference and signal crosstalk in denselypacked server enclosures. It greatly reduces common risks such as hard drive offline, RAID array degradation, transmission errors and intermittent disconnection under longhour heavyload storage tasks. Metalcased reinforced connectors offer excellent wear resistance for repeated plugandunplug during server maintenance.
The 1meter length provides sufficient slack for standard rackmount server internal routing. No special driver or software configuration is required. Perfect for new server deployment, RAID controller swapping, storage expansion and hardware modification work.
Important note: This cable transmits SAS data signal only and does NOT supply power for hard drives. Please doublecheck your RAID card and backplane are equipped with SFF8643 and SFF8087 matching interfaces before purchase. Mismatched MiniSAS connector types will result in undetected storage devices.
