This internal Mini SAS HD breakout cable is specially engineered for serverlevel storage hardware. It takes one SFF8643 Mini SAS HD host port from RAID HBA controller card and breaks it out to four independent SFF8482 29pin connectors, allowing you to connect up to four SAS or SATA hard drives with one single cable. Fully compliant with SAS 3.0 specification, it supports maximum 12Gb/s data transfer speed per channel and maintains backward compatibility with oldergeneration 6Gbps and 3Gbps SAS/SATA drives. Each SFF8482 port combines both signal contacts and integrated SAS 15pin power pins, directly supplying power to hard disk units and removing the hassle of routing multiple separate SATA power cables inside the server chassis. Highdensity shielding layer and tinned copper inner conductors effectively restrain electromagnetic interference and signal crosstalk, ensuring reliable data transmission even under longduration heavyload working conditions.
